Through the heavy rain, Tanjiro knew that everything would look better for him one day. He looks up at the sky, staring right at the cloudy night, rain pouring onto him but he didn't care. The sky was terrible, perhaps it already knew about the sad night, and rained. Maybe it was a warning-- but Tanjiro didn't listen. But Tanjiro, he knew that it would look better for him... that everything would be better... that the cloudy sky would clear up and show him-- show him the pretty sky behind. He sobs, he couldn't wait for the day to come where he would be welcomed by sunlight. Also, I only watched the anime, and I haven't read the manga... so a lot of the things that happen are just based on what I picked up from the anime. Hm, I guess this will be set in modern AU because it is more convenient to the story plot line.

Muzan is a demon that everyone wants to murder. Tanjiro is a demon slayer that wanted justice for his family. But, when Tanjiro meets Muzan on a certain busy street, he suddenly realizes that-- Muzan is seriously pretty. He feels his heart skip a beat. Or two. Muzan wasn't interested in Tanjiro before, but once he heard that Tanjiro can give something no one else ever gave... It sparked something. "Affection...?" Muzan wanted to feel affection. No one else did, demons aren't supposed to bond together and his human 'wife' isn't exactly able to give him what he wants. Although he loves his daughter, he doesn't feel anything when he's around these two people. When he encounters the person he's been wanting to meet for a long time, he waits to feel something. - Sneak peak - Tanjiro is confused, and stares at this man-- or rather, demon, infront of him. Slowly, he asks, "Aren't you going to kill me?" Muzan doesn't say anything. "Affection." At first, Tanjiro's dumbfounded. "I want affection..." Tanjiro blushes, and smiles, before patting Muzan's head. Its 59 days after the terrorist attack on the shadow people (people who can see in the dark, talk to spirits and see peoples past) and accidentally set of a nuclear bomb in the whole world and shadow people turned into vicious shadows and a ring of mist surround a small city and no one can get in or out, but you don't want to know who or what the mist is keeping out the shadows can only come out from dusk to dawn and so the main character Elijah has been on her own but hasn't ever seen a shadow, but she has seen shadow people, outside the mist are mutans like giant worms, cows with two heads, and the more dangerous ones are yet to be seen. But first Elijah meets JT who ends up kidnapping her and bringing her to JT, James, Emily, and Kattys lookout wand from there they will have an adventure they will never forget.
