All the children were told to never go into the forest or else the monsters that lived there would kill and torture them. Rosemary had only wanted to get a closer look at the one with the unusual eyes. She didn't mean to talk to him. She didn't mean to keep going back. She didn't mean to for any of this to happen. She didn't mean to hurt anyone. She didn't mean to become a monsters best friend.
