In the present, Homo sapiens has been succeeded by the evolved and more adaptive species, Homo sanctus-the humans with extraordinary abilities. Children were expected to have their distinctiveness-their gifts, to be discovered by early age before the time they turn 16. But a young man named Trevor Inskeep has not yet unfolded his power. Time is moving ahead and there is nothing that could make it stop from running forward. But a question arose from men, having their minds wander off to what is possible-could humans evolve back to the time where no one has powers?

I never always liked storms. I remember being scared as a child. I quickly learnt to like them rather then to be afraid of them. I hated things that were abnormal, different. Things that were unfamiliar. I was forced to learn that I was different, that others avoided me because of who I am. I caused havoc and only inflicted damage upon others and myself. I had caused a stain on the the perfect reputation of my family when I was born. I didn't understand why at the time but now, I realise I was once the same. I was afraid of the different. The unfamiliarity had caused me to hate. Afraid of the feeling of uncertainty, the unexpected. To not be in control was my biggest fear, but now it seems like I am living my biggest nightmare. Storms were dark, stirring and only knew how to cause chaos. Storms were misunderstood. Some even ruined innocent lives, burdened them with the remains of their pasts.
