Jack was born at the end of August in the year 2002. He had a knack for drawing, painting and even photography. However what he was even better at doing was using guns, knives and various other items of the same nature. Despite these hobbies and capabilities, he is socially awkward and often left out. He has a cool and aloof exterior and doesn't let many people in. He doesn't appear to be capable of expressing grand excitement or extreme enthusiasm. While he is bullied by Eugene "Flash" Thompson, most of his friends are females. They tend to flock to him, simply to talk because they know he'll listen and if asked, he will give advice. He is a keeper of secrets, and while he has an empathic mind, he has an apathetic exterior. He can easily read emotions and know how an individual feels, allowing him the greatest insight in the aspect of Manipulation. After Gwen Stacy is bitten by a Radioactive Spider... He begins to notice her sudden change in behavior, and things get a bit weird when her hands get awkwardly stuck to his face.

After the apocalypse, humanity began living within huge defensive strongholds to survive. New Aetherra is the only empire-sized city in the east surrounded by sturdy walls and covered by human-made atmospheric barrier. It was built and is governed under three bodies-the Government, the Novu Babel, and the Hunter Force-soldiers trained for battle against unknown creatures outside the city. Ian Velen, a troublesome weak Beta, was hated by the people around him including his own family. He only desired to go outside the city despite the dangers. His Alpha brothers loathed him thinking that he was the product of their mother's sin, and his father couldn't imagine him as his own. Despite his weak physique, he managed to become a Hunter and even had the nerve to confess and propose a marriage to his crush, Axel Krestel, the commander of an independent elite division, in front of so many people. The commander's disgust was obvious, and Ian had an idea that his actions stemmed from his crazy desperation to escape the city. He knew his background had more to it than what was seen outside. Taking an unknown drug on schedule to stabilize this unknown hunger to escape the city was just one part of it. But then an incident occurred. He missed his scheduled dose. His mother warned him that his life would be in danger.

I never always liked storms. I remember being scared as a child. I quickly learnt to like them rather then to be afraid of them. I hated things that were abnormal, different. Things that were unfamiliar. I was forced to learn that I was different, that others avoided me because of who I am. I caused havoc and only inflicted damage upon others and myself. I had caused a stain on the the perfect reputation of my family when I was born. I didn't understand why at the time but now, I realise I was once the same. I was afraid of the different. The unfamiliarity had caused me to hate. Afraid of the feeling of uncertainty, the unexpected. To not be in control was my biggest fear, but now it seems like I am living my biggest nightmare. Storms were dark, stirring and only knew how to cause chaos. Storms were misunderstood. Some even ruined innocent lives, burdened them with the remains of their pasts. Everyone causes pain and destruction. Some more than others.

In a world quietly ravaged by a mysterious mutation, the unnamed narrator records their story as a final testament to the truth. The collapse didn't begin with explosions or fanfare, but with silence, fear, and people vanishing. A strange mutation twisted both bodies and minds into monstrous beings, and society crumbled. The narrator, by chance or fate, didn't turn-and eventually discovered they were immune. Years passed in solitude and survival, but discovering the immunity changed everything. Their cursed blood might be the cure humanity needs. Now hunted and burdened with hope, the narrator begins connecting with the remnants of a broken world, learning that the true monsters are not always the infected, but sometimes the humans left behind. This isn't a story of heroism, but of endurance, loss, and reluctant purpose. The narrator becomes the last barrier between total extinction and a fragile second chance. In a world that has lost almost everything, they become hope-whether they wanted to or not.
