Aeralune is a living world sustained by emotion, memory, and balance. When its people heal, the world thrives. When grief festers, the land fractures. For centuries, its survival has rested in the hands of three guardians who walk unseen among the realms. Zoom, a healer whose warmth mends both body and spirit, believes compassion is Aeralune's last hope. Frostwyn, bound to ancient duty and ice-cold restraint, hears the world's sickness before it speaks. And Kael, bearer of living fire, feels every sorrow Aeralune carries even the one he has never healed within himself. As floating cities falter and entire islands begin to decay, the Seraphim Ark calls them toward a truth long avoided: Aeralune is not dying from external war or corruption. It is unraveling from unreleased grief. To save the world, the guardians must confront the wounds they have hidden behind power, duty, and silence. But healing Aeralune may demand something none of them are prepared to give the surrender of what they have been protecting most. Because in Aeralune, holding on too tightly is just as dangerous as letting go. And the world can no longer endure their masks.
