This book is a BL/hetero love triangle, slow burn, dialog focused, action fantasy romance. This book focuses more on characters interpersonal relationships and trauma than it does on action and battling. I am not great at writing lyrics and my story in heavily influenced by music. You will find song titles/artist scattered throughout the story. I do not claim any of this music, but it does enhance the story that I am trying to tell so feel free to look up each song on YouTube to listen to during the specific scene it is notated in. Being a synthetic human experiment is dangerous. These super humans grow up being locked away, tested, trained, and abused, all for one forced goal: Prepare for the final mission. Sigil, an emotion manipulator, is the first to graduate training and climb the ranks of the ruthless organization, to become a base leader and trainer. Zexich uses his photographic memory to become the resident doctor. The next training class is assembled and Sigil is charged with trying to keep his students from killing each other. Between all of the love and betrayal plus Lucius's time control and arrogance, Arenze's lightning and vengefulness, and Maxwell's fire and manipulative tactics, training becomes a daily life or death situation as well as a deadly love triangle. It is so dangerous that Sigil decides against training water manipulator Demitri with the group because of his pacifistic nature. After graduation it is a race to rank up high enough to become the Superior's top pick to run the final mission into the dark void where things become even more dangerous.
