I'm posting all my fics about the British 1984 film: My Beautiful Laundrette. Also, the fics are all in order as in my fic about Johnny and Omo as teens will be the one before the fic that supposedly takes place after the movie.

Taking place after the events of My Beautiful Laundrette, 'Happiness, Where Are You?' offers an insight into the lives of the various characters. After the drastic climax of the film, Omar finds himself abandoned by Johnny, left to take care of the launderette by himself while balancing a new relationship with Zaki's daughter. What actions are needed to return to the joy he once knew? Or is he past the point of return?
