Lilia Blossom and Snowie Fern have been best friends since as long as they can remember. But when Lilia is diagnosed with HIV with no cure, their friendship is put to the test. After Lilia dies in the hospital by Snowie's side, Snowie struggles to cope without her best friend. The kids in the hallway mock her. Her classmates throw pieces of paper with stupid drawings of Lilia on them just to make her cry. Not only in the real world does Snowie suffer, in heaven Lilia suffers too. She misses her best friend and wishes she could watch over her everyday. Can Snowie keep her mind and sanity intact with her best friend or will she lose her mind in the final twinkle of a spark?
