Growing up, Selene learned how to hate the color blue. It surrounded her constantly-from the sky, the sea, and to the very walls of her home. Over time, she grew tired of it, even resentful. As her life changed when they moved from the seaside to the calm province of Katalana, she met a person who had been a constant reminder of the same color she hated. She faced a battle within herself, choosing between letting herself indulge in the presence of someone who reminded her of the color she hated-of a past she had tried so hard to forget-or just simply watch from afar. Torn between admiring and hating her.
