Everyone on Earth has wings. It's nothing new, humans have just always had wings. I know that looking at birds, the animal that shares these features, we should have been able to fly. Humans can't, the wings have never been big enough and our bones have never been hollow. It was the Greeks that first realized that people's wings reflected their souls. That was what they were there for. But I'm different. Or I'm just the only stubborn, stupid kid on the planet. See, I've been able to fly since I was twelve years old. I'm now fourteen and trying to make my way through high school without anyone finding out my secret. Either of them.
