Scar's stressed about the Turf War, and Grian even more so. An unlikely admiration blossoms when the two leaders realise how similar they really are. The Turf War keeps them separate, but their love for each other brings them together. This is only a first draft (and my first fanfiction) so I will possibly be working things out to edit this story to its full potential. A new mayor has been elected, and who other is that than out beloved GoodTimesWithScar. He is loved by the community, but with his decisions he ends up splitting the city into those who love him and those who don't. Soon enough, a passionate group called "the Mycelium Resistance" rises, opposing the new mayor. What happens when people are split between two sides? Will relationships last? Will everyone be able to make a decision? What happens to those who don't? And most important of all: is this mycelium as harmless as it seems? This is a story about our beloved hermitcraft. Mycelium's Grace (Hermitcraft season 7) To help the Mycelium Resistance, Grian was experimenting, trying to make the mycelium spread faster. The result... not what he was expecting. The Turf War was over, and the Mycelium Resistance won fair and square. Someone was having none of it. Hardly hours after the winners are declared, the Resistance finds themselves trapped in the HEP's clutches. There's something off about the enemy team and something more dangerous behind their suddenly cruel ways. It's up to the Resistance, aided by allies along the way and hindered by both physical and mental wounds, to find whatever it is and stop it before it reaches too far past HEP and claims the world they love.
