In your current life, you're stuck. Stuck in a dead-end job, with no chance at a future. Stuck without your band, and without any friends. Until a band comes to perform at the pizza shop you work at that seems a little too familiar.

Seventeen year old Gerard's parents send him to a residential treatment centre in hopes that he can get the therapy he needs and become "normal" again. However, Gerard strongly disagrees with the fact that there's anything wrong with him and is convinced he's here to meet his inevitable death. But a certain silent boy with dark hair and skeleton gloves may just be there to change it all.
