This is the story of a winter Sunday when I was playing cricket with my cousins. I was only twelve, and in one swing, the ball accidentally hit my grandmother on the forehead. She was taken to the clinic for two hours. At first, I was scared to tell my mother, thinking I would be scolded. But later, my mother explained gently that accidents happen and hiding the truth is worse than the mistake itself. The Roar of the Elders isn't the only 'Roar' out there. In fact, there are more. The Roar of Life controls the earth while the Roar of the Elders controls the sky. The Roar of Life can control life itself, creating plants from wastelands, bringing water even in the deserts, and curing all the sick and wounded. Kaia, a young lioness, had inherited the Roar of Life from her master 'The Healer' and with it the power to heal others. When Kion receives a message from the Pridelands stating that Kovu has a serious illness that could kill him and that Kiara is currently depressed by this, Kion and the Lion Guard leave the Tree of Life to find a cure. When Simba tells them about a legendary healer that could heal even a lion on the brink of death, Kion and the Lion Guard set out for this legendary healer. But when this healer turns out to be none other than Kaia, it brings back many memories Kion thought he had forgotten.
