" So, where do you stand in all of this? "
The man in front of me, Sherlock Holmes, queried. His piercing gaze held a confused look as he scanned me over and over, but couldn't quite figure me out. I could hear shuffling from the corner of the room, knowing that John was starting to get uneasy about the situation. Can't blame him, brother love did try to blow him up. I just smiled and stared back.
" Nowhere, really. Being good is boring. Being bad is boring too. So why can't I be both? " I spoke, earning an eyebrow raise as a smirk painted his features.
" Doesn't that make you ordinary? Someone such as you, (Y/n) Moriarty, ordinary? " he laughed as if that statement was the funniest thing in the world.
" I don't believe you. "
His tone dropped two octaves lower, a dry look present on his face as he eyed the bundle I was carrying in my arms. Both of them made the whole situation troublesome, really, and more tense than it needed to be in any sort of way.
I shot him a genuinely tired look, pursing my lips as I flipped the cloth up, revealing a small jar of cookies in my hands.
" Look, man. I'm trying to be nice here with the cookies. Cut me some slack. " I sighed, rolling my eyes as the detective put on gloves before even touching the jar.
" Are those uh, " John cleared his throat. "... Poisoned? Cyanide? No? " I looked at him from the corner of my eye and smirked.
" Nah, wouldn't kill my favorite blogger now. Brother and I would be very upset, but then again, I am throwing a tantrum on him so I probably should've done that.... Huh. " I snickered as I saw his face pale even more.
" Tantrum? "
" He wouldn't take a day off to go to the cinema with me so I just went MIA. He's probably been on a manhunt since... " I checked my watch, giggling as I heard John plop himself to the couch, muttering something in the lines of ' Jesus Christ '.
" Approximately 10 hours ago. "
" So he does care. "
" Only for me. Why wouldn't he? I'm (Y/n) Moriarty. "
