Two years have passed since the death of Sherlock Holmes. I haven't seen a story leaning both ways in an equal direction so I made one! This is for both ships, and each ship will get equal time in an overarching story. ((Not an AU btw))

A slowburn Mystrade story, told in the point of view of our lovely Scotland Yard resident. It goes into how Lestrade met Mycroft, briefly into a bit of Johnlock, and about Lestrade and Sherlock's friendship, again, it is brief, as this mostly centers around Mycroft and Lestrade's relationship. Really trying to make it have a plot though.

IT DOES NOT STOP WITH LIFE. IT DOES NOT STOP WITH DEATH. The life of multi-billionaire and superhero Tony Stark has never been simple. And when he once again is forced to realize where exactly he stands within society (awfully close to the greatest consulting detective of the previous century, Sherlock Holmes, unfortunately) things do most certainly not get any simpler. Instead, everything that he has been dealing with gets only more difficult. His secrets have secrets, it feels like, and he has been firmly holding on to them for quite some time now. It scares him to death (or, well, you know, it would have scared him to death if he had been actually able to die) when his secrets start to threaten to fall out of his arms and into the unknowing hands of his team mates. He does not want them to know. He does not NEED them to know that his past has been haunting him, that it does not want to leave him alone. An old flame drives him to madness, blinds him for an ancient danger that has gotten closer to him than ever before. Soon, the past will catch up with the present, and Tony is not sure if he will live to tell the tale. --- Updates: just trying my best, really --- English is not my first language, so feel free to kindly point out any mistakes that you may come across. Sherlock Holmes is a brilliant man, but after John punches him when he returns he chooses it's best not to let the man know about the one-year-old he protects.

John Watson is an ordinary boy, with ordinary life problems and oridinary friends. Sherlock Holmes isn't ordinary, Sherlock Holmes despises ordinary people. They are boring, they are idiots and useless. But ordinary has a whole different meaning when these two cross paths. Will John Watson stay ordinary? Will Sherlock Holmes continue to despise ordinary people? Sherlock doesn't understand his feelings, he asks people for help, people that do know him, people like his siblings and friends. John needs help aswell and asks his friends, he needs to know everything possible from this strange boy. ((CONTAINS OC))

She was a kind woman who always seemed to have her nose in a book. Being the center of attention wasn't something she was overly comfortable with, unless she was spouting some fact about history. So, naturally she left the spot light for her younger sister. Mycroft Holmes left the 'fame' business to his brother. He was rather comfortable with his minor position in the Government, working from the sidelines to keep England safe. No need for 'unnecessary leg work', yet he still could make an influence. These people couldn't have been more different. A gentle, emotional woman and man often referred to as 'The Ice Man'. Yet, they were alike in so many ways. So, what happens when they meet one another? Can the eldest Holmes see past the woman's quiet, dull, exterior to the interesting person with in? And can Pond break down the man's walls, and melt the ice with in his heart?

There are no happily ever afters.
