She was known to be invisible by people, despite her family being the most well respected in England, so she had access to places and secrets where other students wouldn't. Hailynne thought, proving her research correct would be the most difficult challenge to come, but she hadn't considered, friendships. Betrayal. Family. And falling in love.

This story is about a girl named Y/n, and her friend Tewkesbury. She's been his best friend since before she can remember, because she lives with him and his family. Later, Lord Tewkesbury stops getting letters from her, so he sends for his new friend, Enola Holmes, to look for her, since his best friend was quite clever as well. Set right after John is saved from the well in TFP for the first chapter, the others are set after the whole incident. No Mary or Rosie, they both died from complications during birth.
