Gregory thought that he was just helping a stranger. Turns out that a certain stranger practically runs the country and grew up in the same mansion as Sherlock. Will they stay just strangers or...? Along the way, Greg slowly learns that every action of the other man means something.

John, depressed over Sherlock's death, goes through life just living through the motions. He visits Sherlock's grave daily but it destroys him. One day, christmas eve, he decides he wants to tell Sherlock how he felt about him all that time. Sherlock sat there every day, watching as John cried over him. He yelled at Sherlock for leaving him alone and it broke his heart... but he had to do it. One day John looks so much worse than usual and Sherlock couldn't help sneaking closer to him, wanting to make him feel better. When he hears what John has to say, he is overcome with emotions but one overpowers the rest... love.
