After losing his Quirk during his final fight with Shigaraki, Izuku was left Quirkless. To the dismay of his friends, the UA staff, and the many women who had fallen for him-and to the shock of the public-Izuku decided to leave UA, taking Eri, whom he had adopted, with him. While most assumed he left because he felt he could no longer stand alongside his classmates as a hero, the truth, known only to his closest confidants-Inko, All Might, Aizawa, Nezu, Bakugou, Todoroki, and Kirishima-was that Izuku had traveled to the Pokémon Regions to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a Pokémon Champion, a goal he had cherished alongside his desire to become a Pro Hero. To prevent his classmates from stopping him and to stay hidden from All For One's remaining followers, Izuku kept his location a secret. During his journey across the Pokémon Regions, Izuku caught many Pokémon and formed meaningful friendships. He also met several women who fell for him. After a year of traveling, Izuku achieved his dream and became the Pokémon Champion of the Kalos Region. 13 years later, Izuku is happily married to many of the women he met during his travels. He has children with all of them, with some mothers having multiple children. Now the father of a large family, Izuku works with his wives to raise their children and keep them in line. Meanwhile, his former classmates-except for Bakugou, Todoroki, and Kirishima, who had become uncle figures to Izuku's children-continued searching for him. Though Izuku occasionally interacted with them online or through rare calls, he had forgotten to tell them where he lived, and none of his classmates thought to ask. Eventually, Jirou discovered a video of him battling Leon and shared it with their classmates. This prompted Izuku to reveal his identity to the public.
