Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way is a 17-year-old student attending the prestigious, yet quite isolated academy called R.A.F.A. (Redwood Academy of Fine Arts) in nowhere, Kansas. During her school days, she studies magic, enduring torment from students from other camps, writing in her journal and getting involved in some mysteries surrounding her school and the people associated with it. This story is my retake of the less than stellar "My Immortal" written by Tara Gilesbie under the username "XXXbloodyrists666XXX". This year (2026 as of writing) is its 20th anniversary and I wanted to take a crack at rewriting it. Feel free to leave your honest thoughts down below, I'm open to criticism.

As punishment for previous misdemeanors including (but not limited to) arson and theft, Kai and Bonnie are sent to a disciplinary camp that seems to be actively trying to kill them, what with the overzealous mean girls, cruel camp counselors, food insecurity, and monsters prowling the castle and gardens that are set to plague them for the entirety of the pre-semester holiday. (I would call it summer vacation, given that's what we of the real world call the 2-month-long vacation between school years, but here Summer is a region, not a period of time.) Note: This is not a love story. There's going to be a romantic subplot, but the main focus of the story will be camp activities, monsters, magic castles, and teenage drama-- At least for a while.
