As the finale to the beginning saga, Kang the Conqueror, growing tired of his numerous defeats and the constant interference of the Avengers, devises his most ambitious plan yet: to take over the entire multiverse by controlling and consolidating all timelines into one "perfect" reality under his rule. He believes that by becoming the sole temporal authority, he can eliminate all possible futures where he is defeated and finally achieve absolute victory. As Kang begins to erase entire timelines and realities, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) is either overwhelmed or co-opted, leaving a newly formed, ragtag team of Avengers as the only hope. This team, comprised of heroes from different corners of the multiverse who have so far escaped Kang's purge, must unite and race against the clock. They are faced with the impossible task of not only stopping Kang's invasion but also restoring the timelines that have already been lost. The first part of their mission focuses on gathering allies, understanding the full scope of Kang's power, and surviving an initial, devastating assault that leaves them scattered across a chaotic, collapsing multiverse.
