"Why are you there?" Mina asked, her voice trembling despite her effort to steady it. The girl glanced back at the swings, her smile fading just a little. "I can't leave," she said simply. A pause. "Not anymore." Mina didn't understand-not yet. But as she stood there, facing the girl who shouldn't have been there at all, she felt it again-that pull, stronger this time. Like an invisible thread tying her to the playground, to the girl, to whatever story had been left unfinished. "What's your name?" Mina asked quietly.
