Aurora was a happy content and innocent 6 year old child, and beloved Princess of her Country, Saraenia. Then on her 7th birthday a war is started. A year later she lost everything. Her mother killed in front of her, her other family either executed or sold into slavery, while she is kept as a prized captive and with all of that also losing her speaking voice. All because the Sarganian King who started the war, ruthlessly took over, destroying everything that Aurora and her people cared about. 6 years later. Now 14 year old Aurora spends her days as a timid, and for the most part silent, prized captive. Prized because of her growing beauty, her beautiful singing voice which earns her the title of a Nightingale, and because she is as far as everyone else knows the only living Princess of the now conquered Country, Saraenia. She spends most of her days either in her mother's garden, her garden, one of the castle's large Library's, and sometimes though rarely out to visit her people and singing for her people. She's as content as she could be in her situation. What she doesn't know is that hopefully soon she will be freed, along with the rest of her Country, and put back to her rightful place. Thanks to Rebels both from her Country and the Country that conquered hers. Will she find the courage to help the rebellion succeed, and find her voice to speak out, after being a timid silent captive for so long? Or is she, and her Country doomed to being hopelessly stuck under King Herath Valik Sargan's ruthless and iron fisted rule?
