Poem

Sometimes attachments can cause more pain than pleasure. The most important things is that you remember your worth and know your own strength. This is a short poem I wrote a little while back, I hope you guys enjoy it.

Poems are my outlet. Let me explain to you through a poem what I mean... these are my stories. I hope you connect to me through them. My poetry is not a work of Fiction It is not stolen or taken from anothers lines I will never stop writing my poetry I will not write around CAUTION cones and do not cross tape I will not limit myself in fear of ruining Someone's perfect image of the world My poems are My thoughts My feelings My good days and bad put on paper These are my stories My memoirs My way of sharing and unleashing The things people said I should be ashamed of People said I would become nothing A nobody Those same people thought They were knocking me down But I started writing when I was weak Putting my poems on paper Ignited me It sparked a flame That helped me find my purpose So when I see them again And they ask me Who I am My answer will be easy I am a poet

this is my own personal poetry, these have been written by hand, and some have been typed on a computer, some are recent and some are years old, they are very personal to me, and a lot of them address problems and struggles I've either gone through or am still going through, I decided to post it here because I feel like it's relatable, and if you are having a bad time, and everything is complicated, I suggest reading my poems, if they can't provide you with comfort, they can at least assure you, You are not alone, and I promise it does get better, not right away, absolutely not, but it does get better,
