Claire is about to go to Texas Prairie University, when Amelie, the Founder of Morganville, texts her telling her to go to her office. When's she there she gets changed into a vampire. How will the housemates react and what feelings will develop between Claire and Amelie?

Claire had just come back from Common Grounds a little early, after studying for her Physics test that she had the next day. She walked into the Glass House, and felt a chill in the air. Something wasn't right and the house was trying to tell her that.....

Claire and Shane's relationship hasn't been going well recently since Claire has been visiting Mrynin a lot more recently and Shane's been getting jealous, but is all this jealously just driving Claire further into the arms of Myrnin?
