A Gears of War Fan Fiction, this story besets the life of a Stranded named Pyrrha. Pyrrha has grown up in an isolated country town called Baroque and has never seen the outside world. Her life is unexpectedly turned upside down when two Coalition Gears stumble upon her town in an effort to escape the evil Locust Horde. The town is consequently destroyed and Pyrrha, along with her brother, Kevin, must travel with the two Gears to the safety of Jacinto if they're to make it out alive. But not is all as it seems as the group travels on. Because some secrets are better left untold...

It took us fifteen years to finally put an end to the Locust war and longer to get over the losses we had. Not many people know what all happen during the war, most of those that do are either dead or wish they were dead.
