So things ever happen, and people not take your side of what happened? They just assume what the other person said is fact?

During the past few years I found out that people I used to be friends with would talk about me behind the scenes, creating their own scripts and scenarios & making me the villain in their own story. Not only that, the general public, along with social media, would sometimes twist the narrative about climate change and world's wellness & I felt the need to write about it. Other than that, this project also revolves around my past, involving all kinds of emotions, vulnerability, growth and healing. In a way, this is me letting go. This is me storytelling through poetry about who I am to a greater extent. With this collection, I wanted to show you a different side of me, I wanted to go deeper into my own identity & life's considerations in general. Last but not least, this project is also a reminder that everything will be okay. It's a reminder to not give up because we are all in this world, in this time, for a reason. Trust the process, be faithful to your intuition and values, believe in yourself. You're not alone in this, I am here with you. A young girl by the name of Lauren is on her way to college with a scholarship for business. She finds herself allured in the bright smile of a troubled 19 year boy of the name Jahlil. Through the twists and turns will they accomplish what everyone said they wouldn't together? But one of the trials is that he is a player and the brother to Lauren's close friend, Jiani. Will their friendship survive through it all? We shall see
