Vai-se vivendo. É o vício de viver, e a saudades de quem fomos. É uma síntese. É dedicado à alguém.

From a young age, I have wanted to become a writer. I used to be a good writer, I wrote everyday about anything I could dream of, and of the things that haunted my dreams. Then life got busy. School, a job, hanging out with friends and being a fiancé are time consuming things, so writing got pushed to the back burner. This is me trying to change that. It has been years since I have written anything, so in a moment of reflection I asked myself this, "Molly, you say you want to be a writer so badly, what are you REALLY doing to reach that goal?" Shamefully, I had to answer: nothing. I was doing nothing to reach my goal! So I came up with a small goal: Write a poem everyday for a year. It doesn't matter how well it is written or what it is about, as long as I'm writing, that is what counts. This goal is about helping me expand my creativity, while also improving my writing skills. Poetry is not my forte, I'm not good at writing it and I don't read much of it. So why poems? Easy, they can be about anything, are acceptable if they are short and don't take as much time as writing a book. My life is as busy as anyone's, but I want to reach my goal. Here are 365 poems that reflect what I am feeling, thinking, or experiencing on any given day. They won't be perfect, they'll probably be silly, but they will be real. In a world full of falsehoods, my goal is to be the honest, true version of myself. Who am I? Read along and help me find out. *Update, I haven't written everyday for a year, but I am still continuing to write what I feel. On this journey I've learning to that wrote something with true meaning, it must come from my soul. So while I'm not writing everyday, what I am writing is from my heart.

She loved her, admired her cared for her but never knew her lover that well. She was always by her side if not behind her. She watched her with a smile that flickered every time someone else touched her.Her lover loved her in her own way and that was what terrified her.

The sun is setting today, but inside me, there is only darkness. My memories are hitting me like broken pieces of glass. My soul is weary today, too weary. Standing in front of the mirror, that inner voice of mine whispered again: "Why are you giving me so much pain? Why are you forcing me to endure this silent suffering?" My eyes filled with tears, but the strength to shed them seemed lost. I replied with only a faint smile: "What can I do? My life is just like this. I don't know when this path will end, or how long I will carry this burden. No matter how much I try, I cannot change this fate." The soul went silent. Perhaps it too knows that I have nothing left in this fight. Every morning begins with a load of uncertainty and the fear of failure. When people smile, I search for those moments of happiness that will forever remain beyond my reach. My life is exactly like a lonely piece of wood floating in the middle of an ocean, and no one knows if it will ever reach the shore Me And My Soul 🥹 05/12/2025

‷ᵃʷᵃʳᵈˢ ʷⁱⁿⁿⁱⁿᵍ ᵖᵒᵉᵗʳʸ ᶜᵒˡˡᵉᶜᵗⁱᵒⁿ‴ From the lessons I've learnt, To the love that I felt- Spread the words, In the verses within. From the moments so fast, To myself and my past- Run the rhymes, And themes within. From Hellos, which will pass, To Goodbyes, which will last- Form the words, Into poems within. So come in, Have a look. And discover the world, Of the words, which take cover- Within. Life is continously growing, dying and breathing. a woman lives through the hearts she touches and the lives she helps create. motherhood is but one option of such a task. as a mother, I owe my breath to my children. this story, these poems, are about them and how they've made me more.
