1930's Louisiana. The Great Depression Jake is desperately looking for work. Driving through the back roads, he discovers what he thinks is an abandoned mansion, but soon finds out that it is inhabited by a mysterious lady who always goes veiled. Black magic, voodoo, ghosts and ,madness fill this once magnificent Ante-Bellum house. What should Jake do when the lady provides his only income, and he is compelled to discover her secret. This is an old story of mine, commissioned for an art exhibition based on Coccteau's gorgeous film, La Belle et la Bete.
