1st place winner in the 2017 Mystic Awards! These are poems that were written during a really difficult chapter of my life, and writing them helped me to survive it. I hope you find something in them.

Cecily Mallory likes to tell herself that she doesn't make mistakes. Doesn't slip up. She is the legendary menace of all of Araelia, the renowned heartless assassin after all. Her every thought was ruled with meticulous precision and impeccability... so everyone thought. However, just because everyone believes it, doesn't make it a reality. Much to the disbelief of some conspiracy theorists, Cecily is in fact human and can be prone to general clumsiness, miscalculations, and impulsive actions. Luckily enough for her, every mistake she has made has only been seen by her closest friends, but what happens when a single mistake catches an unwanted eye? I suppose you'll just have to read to find out... Authors Note: So this was originally a school project that I had to do and after some brief editing was able to convince myself to post it on here because why not. There is a chance that I may decide to create a deeper plot and turn this into an actual novel but for now it is simply a one chapter short story that I hope you will all enjoy reading :). {Cover made by @uglyweekes}
