One day when Marick was surfing the internet, he found a place that had a job that he was interested in. Before he left though, his parents threw him a going away party. Princess Shayla gave Marick a new Morpher that allows one to access the powers and weapons of the previous Wild Force rangers. Merrick taught his nephew how to work with the spirit Zen-Aku, and not allow the darkness within take over. After seven years of training, Marick left on his journey. Along with Zen-Aku and the animal crystals, Marick said his goodbyes to his family and drove his motorcycle to Briarwood to start his new journey.
