Forced by Mycroft, DI Lestrade must work undercover for the British government, in order to uncover a spy. After months of animosity, will Lestrade and Mycroft realise how they actually feel? Mystrade, with some Johnlock.

Mycroft Holmes has always kept to himself, not really reaching out to make friends and especially not forming any sort of romantic attachments. That was until he met Lestrade one day at 221B Baker Street, a Scotland Yard Detective who would go to Sherlock for help on cases. Could it really be that Mycroft Holmes is falling for him?

"John," A tired voice mumbles from the doorway. John turns in the desk chair to find a rough looking Sherlock wrapped in a blanket. "Yes, Sherlock?" John asks gently. "Why is it so cold?" He asks, "Its 25 degrees, I should not be this cold." John stands up, and places the back of his hand on Sherlocks forehead. "You're burning up!" John exclaims simply. "So?" The taller of the two asks. "You're sick, Sherlock." John rolls his eyes. "Oh, if that's all I think I'll go then." "Sherlock! This very well could be from your addiction!" John says, trying to persuade the other to rest. "I'm not addicted if I'm in control," Sherlock reminds John. Sighing, John puts power and authority into his voice, "You are going to rest and I am going to take care of you. And that's final." With a more than slight blush on his face, Sherlock agrees. A lovely little story where Sherls Morphine addiction comes back to haunt him. Along with a ghost from the past. Don't come at, I'm not British. But I am trying to do research(for this story) on the sickness you can get from Morphine addiction, it can be very serious and sometimes fatal. I would not suggest being addicted to Morphine. IM BY NO MEANS AN EXPERT! DONT QUOTE ME! "but that one author on Wattpad didnt mention that symptom in their story! So obviously I'm not addicted and dont need help!" NO DONT DO THAT! D.I. Lestrade was on his way to St. Bart's to talk with Molly. He wanted to see if she had found out anything new about a recent case. Once he got there and walked into the lab, what he saw surprised him greatly. Roaming around the lab were five tiny toddlers. After a second or two of trying to figure out why, he noticed they looked quite familiar. He soon realizes that these kids are actually his partners Sherlock, John, Molly, Sally, and Anderson. Not knowing what else to do he called the first person he could think of. Sherlock's older brother, Mycroft Holmes. The two men have to take care of all the toddlers and try to find a way to get them back to normal. They may find something else too... Love perhaps? I don't own Sherlock or the characters. Sherlock and John get pulled into a mystery by Mycroft and Lestrade, it includes a few homicides and there seems to be a new criminal behind it all. Will Sherlock and John be able to catch the killer, help a heartbroken American spy hired by the British government, save thousands of lives, show up at the Holmes' Christmas dinner with all limbs intact, all while suppressing their feelings for one another? Or will one of them crack under the pressure and reveal it all? This is my first fan fiction that I have ever wrote, but it is not my first story so I have a bit of experience. I would love it if you told me how it is and if you have any tips to give me. I normally only write suspense stories so this is new to me having romance, comedy, action, suspense, and mystery. Also sorry if it sounds too American, I can't help it. But I will be editing every once in a while and if your comment ends up getting read(very rare) I might make some edits on that subject if enough people say the same thing or something similar. Also If you have made it this far, to at least considering to read the story, Thank You, it means a lot. This is dedicated to @madison_holmes She's a friend on Instagram. Sherlock loved his wings and took pride in them. He loved stretching them out and feeling the wind in them.
