A Xenoblade 2 Fanfic. What if Nia's confession left a larger mark on Rex than it did in the game? Note: This is a fanmade continuation of 'What I Fight For' (see https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12804773/1/What-I-Fight-For ) Everything that happens is in my own perspective and how I feel about the characters. If a certain character that you like feels excluded, remember that this is my opinion! AU of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, where Pyra makes Rex into a Blade Eater, and Nia is the one to revive him. With the power of a continent-shattering Blade, Rex plans to fulfill his dream of reaching Elysuim. Xenoblade Chronicles... god I love this game trilogy(plus 1). The possibility for some filthy casual writer like myself to make AU's out of the incredible and diverse world Xenoblade offers us. Man, I'm already getting excited! Alright. Let's cover a few more things. -Running through the entire games plot will be really tedious. But I love this game and it's plot, so I'll follow through with it. Expect a longer book. -Pyra and Mythra will still exist, but rather then being Rex's Blade, they'll show up in dreams or something, and guide Rex along and teach him how to be a Blade Eater. Basically, thy reside inside the memory of Elysium that Rex has now, and exist inside the Core Crystal. Does that make sense? -Rex x Nia. Since Pyra/Mythra aren't alive in this, that leaves only one. I'm working on my pacing with romance, so I'll try and make it slowly build up to the point, rather then jump right into it. -No changes to the personalities. At least Im not trying to change them. -Vandham. HE LIVES. Or, I wish he did. Unfortunately, his death is just too important to the plot and Rex's character that it feels weird to cut it out. -I want to include Addam in another way. And I have a plan of how to do it, that will also satisfy one of the biggest complaints about the game. -I'd like to try and gradually work Jin over to the other side. I think it could be interesting, but that might change. -I'll try to prevent this from just being a rewrite with no Pyra/Mythra. I'll make some original moments, and throw in some filler. -EMPTY MOMENT! Okay, I'm sure you get the gist. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy. I've been looking forward to making a longer story for Xenoblade.

After Y/n saw the reveal of Pyra/Mythra for Smash, he was overjoyed. However, right before the day of release, he died. Now he's exploring this new world with the powers of the Aegis.

Hello, thank you so much for reading!! In case you're new to reading, or maybe haven't seen my past posts, this is my [alternate universe] telling of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. This is simply the prologue, but I do feel it is an important part of my story uwu I write this like I would RP, so it might not be super good, but all of it comes from the heart. The story will follow 23 year old Helena, an Ardainian driver who wants to prove her strength, and the two blades whom follow her path. Not only hers, but her blade's backstories will all be told through story. I plan for this to be like, somewhat long with several chapters, and of corse, two books (tgc and base) The reason it is "retold" would be because I am still using the game's plot, but it's not the main focus, nor is it the same journey as my main character. I classify this as an au because I do in fact add characters whom know the canon characters on different levels (acquaintance - Love interests - close friends, etc) and there are events that I may alter or change entirely for story purposes. Things seemed to finally be calming down in the large Stone-Wood household. After trine of trying, Rian had succeeded in making his Father see him as more than a solider, and now their relationship had mended, growing into so much more. Ordon was taking a more active role in his kids lives, and it appeared that the family benefited greatly from it. Shoni, however, became discontent with the change. Less money now that her husband decided to be a father instead of a provider to his two adopted childling, and his one "true" son. She simply lost a reason to stay, and had to take swift action, before the guilt consumed her... In this au there's no Skesis/the Crystal isn't dark. The clans came to the decision that the heart of Thra should be place in a Castle, with guards from every clan, to help preserve the land and keep it out of harms way. Ordon is obviously still the Captain to keep the Stonewood appeased and the Vapra can remain in control.

As an aspiring mythologist, my studies are not complete without a documentary. So far, I've managed to evaluate AND ACTUALLY PROVE a few reported kitsune sightings true. They are very hard to come by so I hope you enjoy my documentary. This is June Holloway, signing off.
