It was a split moment on the battlefield. Disclaimer - I don't own My Time At Sandrock. This one-shot is written for the White Belt challenge for Write to Rank 2022 over on Wattpad. The prompt for this particular challenge was, "It's chaos all around you, but for a split second you look up and across the battlefield. What do you see or what emotion do you feel? Can you make us experience the moment in just 100 words?" And yes, the story for this challenge needed to be 100 words. For those who don't know the My Time At game series, the Civil Corps are the local military for the various city-states in a post-apocalyptic setting, but in the case of Sandrock the city-state of Sandrock is a wild west town which is what's driving me to write for My Time At Sandrock for Write to Rank this year. The story also contains no spoilers, only speculation regarding what Unsuur did before joining the Civil Corps in Sandrock as well as leaving his exact relationship with Logan open to the readers personal interpretation. It is, after all, a story told in a hundred words.

Vivi is everybody's grandmother and Sebastian should know it. Disclaimer - I don't own My Time At Sandrock or Stardew Valley. This was written for the Froday little special for July 2022 which is Drabble Madness where I'm to write as many 100/200/300 word stories. This is also written for The Chamber with the woman of color I'm featuring being Vivi from My Time At Sandrock because - well, what's not to love. And I'd been looking for her kind of character as grandmother to Maru and Sebastian and so that resulted in this little drabble.

This was written for the monthly Froday challenge for June 2022 where we were to write stories based on the zodiac signs, but for this one Owen's spring birthday on the second is April 2 and thus an Aries, with the traits I was going for being adventurous, quick-witted, impulsive, foolhardy and daredevil, the negative traits coming out more when he was younger and hanging out with Logan.

There are a lot of things Unsuur is unsure about, but he's quite sure the local owner of the Blue Moon Saloon - Owen, doesn't like him, just as sure as his memories of his time prior to being a member of Logan's gang are a mangled mess. One of the characters must have a secret, I must use the words, "We need to go back to the beginning to figure this out" and it must end at a cliffhanger. Here's my story.

Sebastian never expected to see Mi-an again. Disclaimer - I don't own Stardew Valley or My Time At Sandirock. This was written for the second regular challenge for the Froday Flash Fiction Challenge for December 2021, but the word prompt is "confession". Of course, I've my own confession to make in that I've not yet played My Time At Sandirock (it's still in Beta), but when I saw Mi-an's character, my thoughts were - that's the what Yuki looks like. Which, yes - I know Yuki is Japanese and Mi-an is not. It still does work, given the fact Yuki actually always tied into a childhood nickname more than her real name.

Burgess knew he was the last person anybody, particularly someone in Civil Corps would want in a fight, yet there he was stuck with Unsuur feeling quite unsure. Disclaimer - I don't own My Time At Sandrock. This is written for the Yellow Belt round of right to rank where the goal was to write a 480-500 word story, but the prompt was, "Set the scene and create a dynamic dialogue between the two main characters. ... We want to see an unlikely alliance between two characters coming together to face a challenge." As for anything of note for those not familiar with the fandom, in this post-apocalyptic world, the Age of Corruption is the age that led to the apocalyptic state and the church is the Church of Light which has a stance against reviving the technology of the Age of Corruption as they believe doing so will result in yet another Age of Corruption. Oh, and no spoilers for the game. Unsuur formally being part of Logan's gang is speculation on my part. Logan and Unsuur's exact relationship is open to interpretation.

Chessa never expected Sandrock to be anything other than a launching pad for her career, until, that is, everything starts getting tangled up in her heartstrings.

Jasmine keeps an injured Unsuur busy by having him tell her a tale. Disclaimer - I don't own My Time At Sandrock. This was written for the Blue Belt rank for Write to Rank 2022 where the prompt was to write an action/fantasy mash-up between 1,150-1,200 words. And I thought when I saw the prompt I might have to change fandom. And then I thought, what if I went AU with a fairy tail instead of a Wild West setting. And then I thought, what if instead of an AU it was a story-within-a-story type story with someone telling Jasmine a story and Unsuur was the one who popped into my head. But then I thought, Puss in Boots in the Wild West - oh, I get to use Captain for this one! For those who don't know the fandom, Sandrock is a post-apocalyptic wild west town and Unsuur is a deputy in it's Civil Corps, Jasmine is the mayor's daughter and Captain is the third member of the Civil Corps, or so says Unsuur.

When Mi-an moves to Stardew Valley, despite already knowing her from his childhood in the Alliance of the Free Cities that is now a part of the empire, Sebastian finds himself struggling to speak with her. In response to a prompt by Anonymous in the 5_plus_1_things collection. Disclaimer - This was written for 5+1 which fulfills the criteria of trying something new for the June 2023 monthly Froday challenge as well as Froday Madness 24 and it also fulfills the second regular challenge for June which is patience.Prompt: 5 times Character A almost talked to Character B and the 1 time they did.

Owen extends friendship to everyone who moves to Sandrock, including Justice's new deputy. Disclaimer - I don't own My Time At Sandrock. This is written for the monthly Froday challenge for June 2022 which involves the zodiac signs and for this I went with Owen's spring birthday of the second being equivalent to March 2 making him a Pisces while attempting to focus on compassionate, kind and sympathetic while hopefully tossing in a bit of the imaginative and intuitive in there. There are no major spoilers for the game in his fic, just speculation on my part based on what little I've played so far and certain headcanon that I thought would be fun. As for the rather odd things Unsuur said, it comes from looking at what he happens to like gift wise over on the Sandrock wiki at the time of writing this which happens to be a definite liking for rock and not having a negative reaction to manure like other characters do, which may definitely change once the game is no longer early access, but it will definitely stick when it comes to his character.

This was written for the sixth round of Write to Rank 2023 where the goal was to write a 1,150-1,200 word story combining the action and adventure genre and this is what I came up with for that prompt.

Zeno never expected his world to fall apart and the stars to fall. Disclaimer - I don't own Phantasy Star Online 2 or My Time At Sandrock. This was written for Write to Rank - the red belt round, and the goal was to write a 2.9-3k story involving a spin-off to an existing action-based fandom that's popular, though they didn't specify how popular it needed to be. And we could do a crossover, so I ended up doing this for this.
