The ability to see ghosts, a gift or a burden? Sometimes I wish I was born blind, for I wouldn't need to help them. I don't know how much longer I can endure this, with my mother and the master's son always lurking not too far.

Jerrick Bennington-Moore is Santa Rosa's foremost PI. Only, as Kate Mayer quickly finds out, PI doesn't only stand for private investigator. Normally, for him, P stands for paranormal and it definitely explains why Moore can't hold down an assistant.
