The season kicks off in the "Satyug" era, introducing Nageshwari and Nyshara, the first-ever Sarvashreshtha Adi Naagins (Supreme Serpents), blessed by Lord Shiva with immense powers to guard the sacred Naagmani. Trouble begins when Akash and Akilan, the obsessive Princes of the Eagle (Cheel) clan, attack the temple to claim Nageshwari and Nyshara for themselves. In the fierce battle, Akash kills Nageshwari's soulmate, Hriday, and Nyshara's best friend, Hikil, prompting the grief-stricken Naagins to curse all six of them to be reborn in the mortal world to finish their unresolved conflict. Bani and Rani, two strong and independent women, soon discover their fates as the Adi Naagins.
