This short one-shot focuses on Bail's and Padmé's wonderful friendship, which I find most extraordinary and beautiful. It does not follow a specific plot, rather it focuses on the atmosphere I tried to create. Enjoy! :)

Author's Note: When I thought of this, I thought "What would I want in an R-Rated Vader anthology film?" Forewarning, it gets creepy, but overall, I'm satisfied with what I've written. If you guys like it enough, I might decide to make it into a book. For now, it's just this one shot to test the waters.

Takes place after Dark Nest Trilogy After discovering the rest of events surrounding her and her twin brother's birth, Leia Solo, along with her husband, embarks on a special mission to meet the rest of her mother's family. Realizing the rest of her biological family was closer than she thought, she finds the Naberrie family on Naboo and reunites her whole family.

Following their sixteenth birthday, Luke and Leia Naberrie are finally joining the fight against the Empire. Sort of, anyway. They're actually going through boot camp so they can join Naboo's security force, but its the first militia training they've ever received. At least it's something. Luke and Leia soon find, however, that boot camp will keep them busy for quite a while. It may not be the Rebellion, but it is rigorous and it will take all of their strengths to prove themselves to their instructors. Determined to make their parents proud, they embrace the soldier's life and brace themselves for the galaxy that is waiting for them. It is cruel and harsh and dangerous, but quite frankly, the galaxy hasn't met the Naberrie twins yet. His hand pressed against the soft, smooth skin of her neck, and under the coolness of his glove she could feel the heat of his palm, moving down towards the metal collar around her neck. She stared at him in confusion. What was he..? He tilted his head to the side, his eyes following the path his hand moulded along her skin. He was almost right there, his blue eyes lit up by the subtle gold undertone shining almost metallically underneath crystalline blue. "Such nice skin, Amidala." He purred, his voice dripping with honey, sounding almost harmless, but she sensed a threat underneath his calm, almost lazy tone. "Skywalker, this isn't the time for-" She stopped short when she saw his eyes, so sharp and icy. Padmé stared at him, her brows drawn down in a confusion. He'd never looked at her like that before, so unfeelingly. And why wasn't he trying to free her? Unease and dread of this unknown territory filled her. A look of sympathy, or perhaps sadistic pity leaked into his eyes, and she felt a sudden drop in her stomach. "You really have no idea, do you?" She didn't even attempt to hide the confused fear that was passing through her. "Allow me to enlighten you." He hissed, and suddenly his grip was around her neck with pressure, gripping her neck from above the collar. It was far to familiar. "I told you never to forget this, and now you'll suffer the consequences for not listening." ~ The galaxy is in shreds, Palpatine is in control of the prospering Empire, AND Padme finds herself under the radar of the galaxy's most feared force, Darth Vader.
