Capítulo 1: Lo que nadie esperaba La clase 1-A se prepara para un entrenamiento especial. Aizawa: Hoy trabajarán en parejas. Quiero que aprendan a confiar en alguien con quien normalmente no colaborarían. Cuando anuncia las parejas, todos se sorprenden. Aizawa: Bakugo e Izuku Midoriya. Bakugo: ¡¿Qué?! Deku: Haremos nuestro mejor esfuerzo, Kacchan. Bakugo: No me llames así durante el entrenamiento. Mina y Kaminari empiezan a reír. Mina: ¡Esto va a ser interesante! Kirishima: ¡Seguro que forman un gran equipo! Durante el combate contra los robots, Bakugo e Izuku discuten al principio, pero poco a poco empiezan a coordinarse. Gracias a su trabajo en equipo, derrotan a todos los enemigos. All Might: ¡Excelente trabajo! Han demostrado cuánto han crecido como héroes. Más tarde, al regresar a la residencia, Deku sale al jardín para despejarse. Bakugo lo encuentra allí. Bakugo: Oye... peleaste bien. Deku: Gracias. Tú también. Antes de pensarlo demasiado, Bakugo se acerca y le da un beso corto y tímido. Deku se queda completamente rojo. Deku: K-Kacchan... Bakugo también se sonroja. Bakugo: No empieces a analizar esto como haces siempre... Deku sonríe. Deku: No me reiré de ti. En ese momento, Kirishima, Mina, Uraraka, Iida y Todoroki salen al jardín y ven a los dos muy cerca. Mina: ¡¿Qué está pasando aquí?! Bakugo se aparta de inmediato. Bakugo: ¡No es asunto de ustedes! Kirishima sonríe mientras Deku, muy avergonzado, se tapa la cara. Narrador: "Aquel beso fue solo el comienzo. A partir de ese día, Bakugo y Deku tendrían que descubrir qué significaban realmente sus sentimientos... mientras intentaban mantenerlos en secreto."
