Kaneki Ken was a boy who died a few weeks ago, having been tortured by Jason. But he didn't move on. He's stuck on Earth as a ghost, and the only person who can see him is his best friend, Hideyoshi Nagachika. Hide took Kaneki's death pretty hard, so it's lucky that Kaneki is still here. Hide even forgot some moments in his life - including when he and Anteiku found Kaneki Ken. With Kaneki by his side, perhaps his slight amnesia won't become a problem. But that doesn't mean seeing a ghost and communicating with them isn't an issue on its own. Disclaimer: I don't own Tokyo Ghoul (:re), but I have officially finished reading it now. The Q Squad (including Hide) has one case assigned to them at a time, and Hide has his own personal case to work on since he's so quick to finish. Haise is meeting in secret with a 'peaceful organization', led by Hide, the Sun. {THE SUNSHINE IN THIS GORY WOR-Okay, sorry.} This group is a hodgepodge of ghouls(?), half-ghouls, and humans, and they watch over the wards {Like guardian angel-okay, sorry}. They try to tone down the ghoul violence on their own, but a small group can only do so much. Haise has just joined this group, so he has been assigned a few wards of his own. How will Haise be able to balance watching three Wards and his job at the CCG? Will Haise be able to keep his new pastime a secret? (Duh, no. For some reason with these stories, I just can't keep Saiko away ;-; ) Will this organization be able to fix this broken world? Find out~! And they say there are four half-ghouls: the Sun King, Flame, Bat, and Snowflake. This group has odd ideals. They say they believe in peaceful human-ghoul coexistence. But is it really possible? When Hide was young, he was face-to-face with an adult ghoul. How did he survive to become an investigator? Why, he was saved by Kaneki of course! (Note: Kaneki has been a ghoul all his life, and Jason happened way earlier than in the anime/manga. Also, he was ten years old when he met Hide, and he actually did have white hair at the time, but like in the last episode of square root of A, he temporarily had black hair. Meeting bright and sunny Hide gave him black hair for a minute. Yay!) Now Hide is eighteen, and he is a part-time worker at the CCG! He does it more to satisfy his curiosity and all, but when he becomes a full investigator, he'll still kill ghouls. Right now he's just the messenger. WILL HIDE MEET HIS FATED WIFE AGAIN?!! WILL AKIRA EVER BE ABLE TO PROVE THAT HIDE'S IN LOVE WITH A GHOUL?!! WILL FATE HAVE MERCY ON THIS POOR PAIRING?!! WILL AMON EVER GET OVER HIS EYEPATCH COMPLICATION?!!
