Y/n L/n was a zoologist, not weary known. She was newly graduated and hadn't really had a job so when she was contacted by a well-known labratory she was more than surprised. However her reason for hier wasn't what she hoped.

y/n, a photographer touring India come around the information of a scenic spring in the tropical mountains but warned about the creature that roams the territory. her curiosity bites.

Y/n was only six when she was told the legend of Nagas'. A few days later she sees a naga trapped in the woods. She bring her naga friend back to her house and introduces him to her grandma. But soon after, her whole house was set ablaze, losing her memory of everything. When y/n turns 18 she moves to a small house only a block from her grandma's old house. The woods that are in her backyard connect to the woods behind her grandma's backyard. Soon after moving in, she sees a snake like creature in her backyard, but before she can identify what it is the creature slithers away quickly. A few days after the encounter to see the same creature in her house. A naga. She's fears for her life as it slithers towards her. What will the naga do? Will it hurt y/n?

[SLOW UPDATES] The humans of the great forests and fields once worshipped a powerful snake god, it was more deceitful and slimy than any of the other gods as snakes are. It became angered once its people began to leave and worship other gods so the ancient god laid a curse upon his creations, that they wouldn't be able to have relationships with humans as their lust for blood and war overwhelmed anything else. Their lifespans extended by hundreds of years. The god laughed at his creations, as he has warned them to obey every command and whom he had and they had not listened to him. They did this to themselves, they were selfish. Those were his thoughts. Generations grow and over the years as does the lush land. At least that's what those with the naga curse believed. The god blinded them from anything bad he had been doing, which included allowing demons to corrupt the forest for their selfish entertainment. The prince of the naga commanded with an iron rule and his people called him a descendant of the god, which he was. They held him to a god-like status, which only didn't anger the god because it was his descendant who continued his evil and shameful work. The cursed continued to conquest lands around them but found that neighboring kingdoms began to use magic to keep them out of the land. They used robotic guards who weren't nearly as powerful but were more of a distraction. The mages were the true protectors of the land. They were most powerful and helped rule with kindness as the mage's order insisted. They had been founded after a crisis that was caused by the naga, they fought to protect their land and thwart any attempt to take over once again.

A holiday gone wrong, A mythical species, A quest, and a choice... What's not to love? This story begins how most others do, With normality. But when one finds themselves a prisoner to a race of Naga well... The word "Normal" has nothing to do with it. But a chance of freedom is still up for grabs. Yet if one was to have that option, to escape, would they begin to perhaps miss the new world they have discovered? And the new companion they've discovered? *So this is the first X Reader novel I've written but I have been currently browsing Wattpad and found nothing that suited my tastes and made the irrational decision of constructing one myself.
