This is a english version for "Lâmina da Verdade". In a distant place, in the house of the Morise family, two brothers live, last members of their family. Izumo and Yumi was their names. Izumo is the older brother and for being the only men in the family, he has total authority over it, but he is always supporting his sister. Due to a terrible incident, Izumo lost his memory, today he remembers nothing that happened before the incident, but he still care for his sister. Yumi is a samurai, just like her brother, besides that she is woman in a medieval era, but she is incredible skillful like thousands of other samurais. She dreams to become a master samurai. Together, the brothers seek a katana forged by gods. Izumo only wanted to help her sister, but during the adventure he discoveries things about his forgotten past... What the past would be hiding from him?

Naginata Boko is the best-known float in the Gion Festival in Kyoto that starts on July 17 and is featured in all Japanese mass media.

This is the English version of TENTANG NAGINATA. I altered some of the dialogues. But the premise stays the same. This short story tells about two men admiring an old Japanese weapon in a museum. However, they were not regular visitors. This is an old story from a long time ago.

Local residents reintroduced Shijō Kasa Boko to the festival in 1988, after a 117-year absence. As you can imagine, this is no small undertaking. Today the Shijō Kasa Boko shows us what some of the Gion Festival floats probably looked like in the Muromachi Period (1337-1573). History tells us the floats started out as pikes or halberds. Eventually, over centuries, they morphed to their current forms. The highlight of the Shijō Kasa Boko is its children's dance and music. With Ayagasa Boko, it's unique in the Gion Festival saki matsuri's July 17 procession. In the dance, two boys wear costumes and "bear wigs" wave long poles in a lively dance. And six more boys accompany the dance with various percussion instruments: bells, drums, and clave sticks. By tradition Naginata Boko is the first float in the Gion Festival annual procession on July 17. Therefore it's featured in every form of Japanese mass media, and is easily the best-known float nationwide. It's instantly recognizable by the naginata halberd sword on the top of its shingi central pole.
