It could have worked out, albeit for the sudden growth of flowers and roots across Izuru's lungs, stabbing and making him choke as time passed by. Unfortunately, those people in gowns had long been discarded. In another life, these symptoms would not have developed further, as the disease would have been physically removed from Izuru's insides no matter how insignificant the symptoms were. But here he was, swallowing down and choking on white lilies for a man who loved the symbol instead of the person.
