Kylissa has something of a problem. Between being treated like a porcelain doll and becoming lost wherever she goes, she longs for the opportunity to prove herself as strong to her brothers and father. Her opportunity to do so comes in the form of an unexpected trip to Fey, the fantastical realm where all manner of fairy tale creatures exist. But all is not well in this land of magic, and if she is not careful, Kylissa may lose her very soul to the world of Fey. Note: This is a rough draft. Lili isn't like most Naiads. She wants to see the land. When a demigod of Poseidon comes to the lake she is hidden in, her mother wants her to take the demigod under her spell and capture him. Her sister, Koi, thinks the boy would make a nice meal but Lili doesn't think that she was going to catch this boy for dinner. She had other plans.

When Leona left the ocean, she was filled with unbridled rage and wanted nothing but revenge against mankind. Armed with a group of likeminded individuals, that was exactly what she was going to do. But after many years topside her anger has faded. She's not so sure about her mission anymore. And she's not alone. When their ultimate plan fails, Leona flees in the chaos. On her own path for the first time, Leona learns that perhaps mankind isn't as evil as she'd assumed. But time is running out. She needs to stop her former friends before they can do the unimaginable and she loses this new beautiful life she's crafted herself.

Awakening after a shipwreck on an unfamiliar shore, Karadon finds himself far away from home, banished from all that is familiar following false accusations made against him. He is familiar with the rumours about the strange land across the sea having grown up with the stories of the savage tribes and the constant wars they fight with each other. But Karadon discovers a lot more in this foreign land besides waring tribes- lost races long forgotten by man that yearn to be remembered- and a secret that will stop the wars forever and save the earth from an ancient curse that threatens to destroy it. I first wrote this story in 1998 when I was 14. I feel it's time for a re write and to share.

Originally a flash fiction piece for world water day 2020 prompt, I've expanded the piece into a short story.
