Mizuno Yui has always been a loner. Moving around her whole life and never staying in one place for more than a couple of months, it was always easier that way. But when she finds herself on the streets of Aichi with nowhere to go, she realized that her desicion might have made it harder.

After living ten years abroad in Australia Yousuke Akimoto and his family return to Japan where he continues his studies to becoming a doctor. Although Hiroshima natives, the family relocated to Tokyo for the convenience of having relatives within close proximity, not being born with the luxury of a large extended family; the most prominent family related to the Akimoto's being the Kikuchi's. Suzuka Nakamoto, after catching wind of Yousuke's return, brushed off the empty words as nothing more than rumors. However, when it's confirmed that he had returned, flashbacks of their intertwined childhoods came flooding back into her mind; some more personal than others. A once timid soul who never gathered the courage to confess her feelings to Yousuke before his departure, one can only imagine how much internal conflict she has with herself now that a second chance has been granted in her favor. Unfortunately for her many internal and external obstacles stand between her and the individual she admires more than a best friend. Will he favor a familiar face in Suzuka and come to reciprocate the feelings she has had for him since childhood? Although they have vanquished "The Conniving Serpent", they were again left with no leader. And, again, the country relapsed into a major warring period but this time more women were armed in forces and fought not only for their country's unification but also equality. By 408, Agnea was divided into West and East territories under the governance of the Nakamoto family and the Mizuno family respectively. In 411, both parties decided it was best to create a "buffer zone" to lessen tension between the two regions; this small but crucial territory was bestowed to the longest living clan in that region: the Kikuchi clan. 444 was a blessed year as each family gave birth to three beautiful girls: Suzuka Nakamoto, Yui Mizuno, and Moa Kikuchi.
