Life takes turns one expects and one doesn't expect, even if they have dreamt the predicted result, mused Draupadi, sitting in the cottage by Kunti's side, her head on the matriarch's shoulder. Kunti had been horrified by her words, worrds that Krishna pacified with a gentleness that was so characteristic of Him, words that the eldest, Yuvaraja Yudhisthira, tried to evade in different ways to not break his brother's heart, words which all five brothers ultimately accepted.
For love is always such, she mused, a slight smile now adorning her face. She had expected this resistance in that their love for Arjuna was so strong, but she was also glad that the respect and love she felt for all five would now be resolved in a way that Mahadeva had decreed.

Arjuna had gone to Panchala expecting some donations, not Agnija herself as his bride. Even before she could be his properly, she was also his brothers', but how could he begrudge them Draupadi, when he understood how their hearts worked and just how much they adored Arjuna himself? Krishna's blessing had tied this union together, and knowing his brothers well, Arjuna knew they would, as always, work this out together, this time accompanied by Panchali.
A love story for the ages, of Divine timing, of Divine love, and of human circumstances. A love story of Arjuna and Draupadi, of Panchali and Dhananjaya.
