Aspen grew up in the care of her scientist grandfather. She was a child progeny, assisting him with his experiments and even becoming his test subject on multiple occasions. When one of her grandfather's experiments goes wrong and sucks him into a dimensional portal, Aspen takes it upon herself to go after him.
