After a tough breakup, self-cautios Ian has to summer vacation on the coast of Namibia with his parents at one of the many resorts, where on one of the many tour guides he meets confident Nile, a boy almost his age who is the son of the owner of the resort. They instantly become friends and meet almost every day. Everything goes well until Ian starts to suspect that Nile has feelings for his younger sister, Bianca, which sets him up in an awkward position, mostly after all the romantic things Nile says to him often. But what will Ian do before his vacation is over?

I'm reposting it because it's a damn good story and the first I ever posted on here and it deserves to shine all the same

A person supposed to heal before they can deserve a relationship? Ain't folks supposed to help others heal and grow? And even if somebody gotta heal outside a relationship 'fore they can step into one, ain't they supposed to have someone by they side who's gonna help 'em through the struggle? And why can't that someone be the partner they choose to live the rest of they lives with? Why we don't have the wisdom, strength to help our partners heal and grow?
