In the 1940s after the Second World War, UNRRA were taking children away from adoptive families from Germany and bring them back to Poland. But when a member of HYDRA pretends to be a UNRRA member, the life young Kalina Nowak knew in Poland is now changed to the same four walls of a HYDRA base. She spent years being experimented on, cruel hands gripping her future. She was frozen to save her youth features, trained by the infamous The Winter Soldier and when she was ready, completed the tasks too weak, small or not beneficial for the Winter Soldier to take on. Despite his brainwashing, The soldier manages to get Kalina out and now she must spend her days regaining her memories and finding her place amongst a system she won't be defined by.
