Nani Hirunkit is a surgical resident, which basically means he is chronically exhausted, emotionally unavailable, and one minor inconvenience away from chucking himself into a linen cupboard and refusing to come out. He is brilliant, sharp-tongued, and aggressively unimpressed by 98 percent of humanity.
The remaining 2 percent are children, cats, and his fiance.
Unfortunately, his fiance is Sky Wongravee.
And Sky is......well, Sky.
Sky works a very normal office job but still manages to stroll into the hospital looking like he has been personally hand-crafted by angels with too much free time. He brings Nani snacks like some sort of overenthusiastic Victorian suitor. He gives everyone warm smiles that make grown nurses blush. He hugs Nani in public like he has absolutely no sense of self-preservation.
Naturally, the entire hospital is obsessed with him.
Naturally, Nani hates that.
Naturally, Sky has no idea, because subtlety is not his ministry.
Nani pretends he doesn't care.
Nani absolutely cares.
Nani cares so much it keeps him awake at 3 a.m., glaring at the ceiling and muttering things like, "Why is he like this," and "Why is he so fit," and "Why is everyone staring at him, I swear to God."
Sky, for his part, only ever has eyes for Nani.
Which is annoying.
And touching.
And sort of terrifying, if Nani is honest, because he is not used to being someone's soft spot.
This is a story about the grumpiest doctor in Britain accidentally falling stupidly in love with the biggest golden retriever to ever walk the earth.
There are night shifts, forehead kisses, jealousy that could qualify as a sport, too many snacks, and two idiots trying to figure out how to be happy without panicking about it.
It's Chaotic,Tender.....A little bit feral.
And..... undeniably theirs.
