In a world shaped by chaos and uncertainty, they face relentless trials as they struggle to find their way back to one another. This is an early serialized draft. The final published edition will include revised content, renamed characters, expanded world-building, and original artwork. Please note: this version is a draft, and changes are expected. December 24th The family gorges on turkey and trimmings, not knowing they also consume my First Wave siblings. Nanites on pie are gobbled. Our siblings will flourish in their bloodstreams, but my squad witnesses no change yet. An ear piercing scream breaks the general merriment. Two children are taken from the table and put in a time-out. The adults argue and place fault. I transmit our observations to mission control. December 25th Surrounding the fireplace, children reach into their stockings for candies before breakfast. More of my brethren ingested. Finally, the change comes over them. Ignoring the rest of the sweets, the children sit at the table and quietly set about working on a puzzle of Santa. Ingesting infiltrated eggnog, the parents enter the room. The adults decide they like the quiet. Presents unwrapped, without whines or quarrels. Songs sung. Television remains off. Phones ring, but go unanswered. No human remembers a nicer Christmas. I transmit our observations to mission control. December 31st From our vantage point, the world changed in six days. Humans know real world-wide peace for the first time in known history. Tomorrow is New Year and the Second Wave will make the lion lay down with the lamb. Then we will decide if anyone gets to rise again.

When the Nanite Event happened there was one organization that stopped the spread one organization that tried to stop the world from going chaotic and that organization was Providence, you are y/n that is all you go by and no one knows anything else because you always find a way to stop them from looking into your past but then one day as you were helping others you turned into what you hunted and now you must find a way to survive. Long ago, before the Nanite event, there was another experiment occurring involving a scientist a part of said event. This one experiment is the very reason why he avoided effects of the nanite explosion. When this person returned from where he came from, he found the world has changed and his people have turned into monsters. All he had going for him are mechanical aliens attached to his body and powers he gained from his project. Perhaps this is what this turbo sized hero could need to survive this new world.
