The Browns were horrid and ill behaved children. They have gone through 17 nannies. The 18th one was the most special. Nanny McPhee seemed to be somehow magical and fixed the Browns up in a no-time. But their Aunt Adelaide had told Mr. Brown if he did not marry by the time the month was up, she would quit providing for them. Mr. Brown was marrying a lady named Mrs. Quickly. She was a horrid woman. But Mrs. Quickly was the god-mother of a girl Simon's age (12) named Madilyn. Do you believe in love at first sight? They do.

Rose was 5 years old when her parents were murdered. She was brought to her mothers best friends house where she meets Simon a mischievous boy who teaches her his way. Frankie Black. She was 3 years old when the browns took her in as a servant after her parents had disappeared out of no where. Of course being around the same age of the browns children she became friends with all of them but she was the closet to Samion the oldest one since she was his age. As they grew up she was basically his girlfriend from the way they've acted. No kissing just like cuddling and stuff. Frankie would do anything for the browns.

You all know that there is seven children, but what about the first? Simon, Tora, Lily, Eric, Sebastian, Christiana, And Agatha. But they had an older sister. Her name is Emmalyn. She is loved dearly by her younger siblings. But.... To save Chrissy, Emmalyn goes with her Great Aunt Adelaide, to the Stitch Manor to learn. Along with Evangeline. When she comes back, everyone is surprised. Simon cares most, as Emmalyn is the most caring sister, a motherly figure. She sings Loolaby to them. Emmalyn always went along with their plans, although she highly disapproved of it. She missed her siblings, and vice versa. She is a 16 year old girl. And she is very glad that Evangeline is her new mother.

Silver Starling is an orphaned girl of 12 who goes to live with the Browns after getting thrown out of 12 other foster homes and leaving her younger siblings of 10 and 6 behind. She comes to the Browns as a serving girl alongside Evangeline. She never expected to start a friendship with the children, or to start having feelings for the oldest boy Simon, the main planner of the pranks. A year after their mother died, Silver was still there, but she was more of a family member, then a maid now. The family consistently grew closer with Silver over the course of the year and now they're closer then ever, even more for Simon and Silver.

Nanny McPhee has an assistant who has a secret of her own. She helps Nanny McPhee with these troublemaking children and ends up finding love along the way. Her secret is exposed and questions rise. Is the girl really who she says she is? or is she someone else completely? Her name is Lily Pan.
