Staring at him, with his dark caramel skin that seem to cover iron by the way his body was rippling with muscle. With each swing of the hammer he held, the muscles in his arms and chest just tightened up showcasing the strength he possesses. I was aware of a constant buzzing in my ear which I realized was the phone, Cleo was still talking to me on. Not being able to stray my eyes from the Greek God on the roof I whispered to Cleo. “There is a hot guy on the roof.” “I thought we were talking about your sister? Where does a hot guy fit into this?” asked Cleo. “Seriously, your ability to switch from one topic to the next quickly astonishes me!” “I’m not talking about my stupid sister; there is a smoking hot man on the roof right now!” I hissed at Cleo, seriously how could she not understand what I’m saying. “What man? There’s a man on your roof! Why are you still talking to me? Hang up the phone and call the police dammit. You know what, you’re obviously in shock I’m going to call them for you.” “Wait what, Cleo no! You don’t undertan……” click, Cleo was already hung up the phone. I looked at the phone hoping that that did not just happen. But the dial tone coming from the phone confirmed that it did happen. ____________________________________________________________ Trinity is a woman who has escaped the harsh realities of her life in a book. Kindergarten: Where boys have cooties, there's no such thing as a backstabber, and colouring a title page is a big assignment. Not as simple as you may think. When trouble maker Brooklynn Carter is suspended for stealing and crashing her principal's car, her mother decides it's high time she learn a little responsibility. Instead of allowing her to wait out her suspension like any normal parent would, Brooklynn is sent to volunteer in her mother's kindergarten class. Brooklynn hopes to get through her time there with as little effort as possible -- after all, how tough can dealing with a bunch of five year olds every day be? -- but when Brooklynn meets an enthusiastic kindergartener named Daisy, it soon proves to be more of a challenge than she previously expected -- Daisy's mother is sick, very sick. When the unthinkable happens, Daisy begins to close up, and Brooklynn takes it upon herself to hold the class together as it threatens to fall apart while also helping Daisy to open up. Dmitri Hass and Lupa Stringer are outlaws in the future city of Libere. They are notorious criminals, wanted for murder and assault on many occasions. Dmitri is a former government experiment, given a ruddy gray right eye that kills anyone who sees it, except for Dmitri himself. He wears an eyepatch to cover it up, and lives in fear that he’ll kill Lupa.

I didn’t plan on dying three days before Halloween, especially not at High School. Being forever remembered as “that girl who literally got killed at school” wasn’t high on my top-ten list of ways to die. Not that I had such a list. Hello. That would be totally morbid. I most certainly didn’t plan on waking up as a ghost near my body next to one really annoying British transfer student (does it matter that he's hot? No. Absolutely not). Unfortunately for me, the jerk is one of the few people who can actually see me. But I didn’t get murdered for any ol’ reason. No. I was murdered because some creep (who most definitely needed a nice cozy white jacket) planned on sacrificing my spirit on Halloween in order to raise a demon. Lovely. Now we only have three days to find out who the creep is and how to avoid my soul from becoming shish kabob. If only the British jerk and I could manage to refrain from murdering each other (is it possible to murder a ghost?) in the meantime. A/N: Hey guys!
