Katharine Iliev is on of the schools 'it' girls. Her boyfriend is on the football team, her best friend is practically already prom queen, and shes top of the pyramid on her cheer team. "Get set to get checked." In the land of Catur lives almost 16 year old Emily St. Album. A war has recently ended, and the army is returning home. Emily has wanted to join since a little girl due to a certain event that changed her life forever. Now she's finally been given the chance to fulfill her dream. After being accepted into the army despite her age, Emily meets Will-the mysterious staff member who seems to know more than he should. His suggestive words and playful smiles drive Emily crazy, but there's something about him. If that wasn't enough, now that's she gotten closer to her dream, the army makes a decision that could tear her about from that dream-forever. As the only two female pawns in the army, Emily and her best friend will have to overcome difficult obstacles if they want their lives and friendship to continue. In Checkmate, the reader follows Emily and her friends in a world based of the popular board game of chess, all of them fighting desperately for the win.

Two boys wake up in different colonies of an unknown world. All of their memories prior to waking up have disappeared and they find themselves in the middle of a conflict between both of their colonies. ~ I'm doing this story as part of NaNoWriMo 2014, so I'll hopefully be able to finish it by the end of the month. When Noor was a little girl, she was the fastest flier among the Nocarae people. One day, when training, she attempted to save the life of a young Fauneck from the clutches of a Felamus male. In the process, she lost what made her who she was. After years of obsessing over revenge, she finds her life once again under his control... This was my Nanowrimo project for 2014, and my first time being a winner. Because it was written in such a short time, it is not well-written and the plot is very poor. I do not plan on editing it, and only have it here so that I can hopefully look back and see how far I have come.

What is Love? Is it when two people fall for each other? or Is it when two people fall for the completely wrong people then meet each other? I don't even know what love is but I would really like to find out about it one day but the thing is I don't even know what to feel!

Follow a five kids trapped in populist Ephemeral while they discover the past and try to save the world. They leave an unperfect world through old newspapers and love letters to piece together what they could have had if their parents were with them and if the Disaster had never struck. ***** NOTE: This is my 2014 NaNoWriMo story. It is in the process of being edited and so while it does contain 28 parts total and they were all previously posted, they are not now. As they are edited for editing round one 1 I will post them so keep looking for sporadic updates. -R.T.

Leign Simpleton, is exactly part of her last name. Simple. Quiet but talkative. Nice but aggressive. Funny but doesn't have a close friend besides her next door neighbor Luke who often smelled like grape juice and always challenged her to basketball knowing himself that he sucks at it. She did the same routine everyday: prepare for school, go to school, talk to the same people about the same thing at school, then come home to change and either play ball with Luke or avoid him. She altered between the last two options each day. But can she really go back to be being simple after a phone call from a sister that is supposed to be dead? Not likely. Not when their small narrow minded town had called her a slutty attention seeking troublemaker. The girl who always cried wolf her friends called her sister during elementary school. She always ran off, most times with a boy but one day never came back, no one saw it as a big deal until they've found pieces of her clothes 6 months later. The town along with the police assumed based on past behavior that she may have did it to herself for attention or she was good as dead. Leign preferred dead because the shame of her returning would've completely ended the family. But she never did. Until now.
