Nanowrimo2017 Stories

Welcome back to another issue of Mirrors and Windows! A magazine with a focus on celebrating the stories, poems, and art created about and/or by people of color. This issue includes announcements about the magazine and what we have planned for NanoWrimo.

When finishing school humans get their Soul Animal, a constant companion and friend, to guide them through their lives. It had always been that way. Until now at least. Kaia's Soul Animal does not turn up at her graduation ceremony. Join her on an epic adventure as she attempts to find her lost Soul Animal, and although she doesn't realise it, save the world. My 2017 nanowrimo novel based off a prompt I saw. Everyone can murder once in their life, they just have to file their intent first. You are waiting to file yours when you hear the person in front of you in line say who they intended to murder....you.....
